Jutta Fedrowitz

Vita

Dr. Jutta Fedrowitz is heading CHE`s area of continuing education in HE Management. She specializes in professional training for higher education leaders, deans and faculty managers. She also directs CHE’s HE management programmes and workshops and works as a certified professional education trainer since 2010. Since 2016 she is a project leader and trainer of GIZ leadership trainings for Ethiopian university deans and presidents. Since 2015, she heads a workshop series for university presidents and directors of administration and finance; since 2012, she is responsible for CHE’s university vice presidents’ leadership programme. For CHE, she has been a project leader for the “International Deans’ Course” since 2006. Before joining CHE, Dr. Fedrowitz worked as a programme manager at the Centre for Arts and Sciences, state chancellery of North Rhine-Westphalia in Düsseldorf, Germany. She was managing a working group on biosensorics and interdisciplinary conferences on culture and technology in the 21st century. After earning her doctorate in biochemistry (enzymology) in 1986, she headed a biochemical research lab in the food industry. Dr. Fedrowitz studied biology and chemistry (completing Germany’s state examinations for teachers) from 1976 to 1982.
