María Carolina Serrano Ramirez
Vita
María Carolina majored in Communication and Journalism (2002), holds a graduate degree on Strategic Management (2011), an Executive MBA (2019) and participated in the first cohort of the DAAD’s training course "Management of Internationalization" (2014-2015) as a fellow. She has been working in the field of international education for ten years, five of them as Director of International Relations at Universidad de La Sabana, where she is responsible for the definition and implementation of the institutional internationalization strategy and policies. She is currently part of the board of the Colombia Challenge Your Knowledge Network (CCYK) as coordinator of the network’s Liaison Committee. María Carolina has been a speaker at international education conferences such as NAFSA, EAIE and AIEA, and has conducted regional workshops on the subject in Colombia, two of them with the support of the DAAD.
