Daniela holds a master’s degree in International Cooperation and Development from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and a bachelor’s degree in International Negotiation from EAFIT University. She currently serves as Director of the Department of Global Initiatives at Fundación Universitaria Juan N. Corpas, where she leads the institution’s internationalisation strategy and its implementation across academic and administrative areas. She has 13 years of experience in the internationalisation of higher education, during which she has led and participated in international cooperation projects with social impact and has held leadership roles in networks that foster and strengthen regional collaboration among universities. At present, she is the Catalyst Leader of the Community for Action “Internationalisation for Society”, an initiative of the Colombian Network for Internationalisation that seeks to strengthen strategic relationships and enhance the societal impact of internationalisation processes in Colombia. Daniela is also an active member of CALCA (Conecta América Latina-Caribe-Alemania), a network of internationalisation professionals, where she serves on the Communications team. She is the author and co-author of several articles that support and promote the development of internationalisation, particularly in Latin America. Daniela is especially enthusiastic about LITE, as it offers her a space to share her professional journey and expertise in a sector that, to date, has limited opportunities for formal professionalisation.
