Thein Win

Vita

Dr. Thein Win is the Director-General of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education. He was appointed as Professor of Zoology Department, Lashio University in 2007, he promoted as Director-General of Department of Higher Education in 2015. As a Director General of Higher Education of Myanmar, he managed policy and term for 134 Universities under Department of Higher Education. As a Director-General, Dr. Thein Win worked as a chairman of many organizations in MoE as well as he is a Governing Board Member of South East Asia Ministry of Education Organization, SEAMEO RIHED. And he also a Leader of ASEAN Senior Officer Meeting for Education Department (SOMED) for Myanmar.
