Lucila Calairo
Vita
Lucila Calairo is the senior director of the Quality Assurance Office of De La Salle University-Dasmarinas, Philippines. She has also served as Director of the Marketing Communications Office, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Services, and Training and Development Officer of the Language Learning Center, and Internationalisation Coordinator of the university. Dr. Calairo sits as the Vice President of the ASEAN Quality Assurance Association. She is also a senior accreditor of the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) and serves as the secretary of PAASCU’s Commission on Tertiary Education. Dr. Calairo is an alumna of the ASEAN-QA TrainIQA Programme, a training programme of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for quality assurance professionals in the ASEAN region. She is also a trainer of DAAD’s National Multiplication Programme and the European Union’s SHARE program called Peer Multiplier Training. Her research interests include outcome-based education, internationalisation, language teaching, and quality assurance for higher education. She has a PhD major in Educational Management.
