Rajkumar Durairaj

Vita

Ir. Professor Dr Rajkumar Durairaj currently serves as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and Student Affairs) at UCSI University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and has also held the position of Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Quality Assurance at the Centre for Academic Quality Assurance (CAQA). Prior to this, he was the Dean of Academic Quality Assurance and Audit at the Division of Quality Assurance and Audit (DQA), Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). In addition, he serves as an Associate Director at the Engineering Accreditation Department (EAD) of the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Salford, United Kingdom, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electronics Manufacturing from the University of Greenwich, United Kingdom. Professor Ir. Dr. Rajkumar has been widely recognized for his significant contributions to engineering education and quality assurance. He is the recipient of several prestigious accolades, including the UTAR Research Excellence Award, the Young Members Award from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), United Kingdom, and the Wighton Titular Fellowship of Engineering awarded by the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), United Kingdom. He is a Professional Engineer (Ir.) registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and a Fellow of The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM). In 2022, he was elected as a Fellow of the ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology (AAET) in recognition of his leadership and contributions to the advancement of engineering and technology in the region.
