Diana Alejandra González

Vita

Alejandra is  the Director of International Relations at the Universidad de La Sabana. She has a BA in Languages and Cultural Studies from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia) and holds a master’s degree in Inter-American Studies from Universität Bielefeld (Germany). For several years, she held the position of Manager of International Cooperation and Visibility at Universidad de La Sabana and prior to this position, she  held similar positions at Universidad Nacional de Colombia.During her professional life, she has been able to develop and coordinate projects funded by international entities such as the European Commission, the US Department of State, the DAAD, the Spencer Foundation, among others. During the last years of her career, she has focused on strengthening the processes of internationalization of research at the Universidad de La Sabana, mainly promoting science diplomacy and resource mobilization for international cooperation projects. She also teaches a Project Management course for the Corporate Communication program at La Sabana. Her training in the NMT 23-24 workshop series focused on project management as a key element for the internationalisation of higher education, international cooperation and scientific diplomacy.
