Peninah Aloo-Obudho

Vita

Prof. Peninah Aloo-Obudho is a Professor in Fisheries Ecology at Karatina University, Department of Natural Resources. Her academic growth started as a Tutorial Fellow in 1990 at Kenyatta University in the Department of Zoology. She obtained her Bachelor of Education (Science) and MSc. from the University of Nairobi and PhD from Kenyatta University. Prof. Aloo-Obudho is currently the Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Academics, Research and Student Affairs (ARSA) at Karatina University in Nyeri County. She is a DIES-UNISTAFF alumna (2007) at Kassel University. Prof. Aloo-Obudho is the founding Chairman of the Kenya DAAD Scholars Association (KDSA) Mount Kenya Region Chapter since 2015. Previously she served as the National Chairman of the KDSA for a period of four, years from 2002 to 2006. She was the Team Leader of NMT 2017/2018 in Kenya.
